Applications for the 2010-2011 Academy of Emergency Nursing EMINENCE Mentoring Program are being accepted now through April 30.
The EMINENCE Program is designed to facilitate mentoring relationships between active ENA members (mentees) and Academy Fellows (mentors). Mentees must apply for the program with a specific project in mind. Mentors will also apply and indicate all areas of potential interest in mentoring. We look forward to the opportunity to share the collective and individual knowledge of our Fellows and promote the professional development of ENA members.
Mentee-Mentor pairs are required to attend an orientation session at ENA's Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 9:15-11:15 am. Please do not apply if you cannot attend this meeting.
Additional information and mentor applications are available online in the AEN Fellows Only section of ENA's website. In order to access the Fellows Only section you need to follow these steps:
1) You must first sign in to ENA's website at www.ena.org. The sign in box is located in the upper left corner of the homepage.
2) After signing in, click on the Academy logo located in the left column of the homepage (under the BCEN logo and Government & Advocacy links).
3) Then click on the Fellows Only link (this will only be visible if you are signed in).
5) The instruction page will appear and you may download the Word application via a link at the bottom of the page. You may fill in the blanks by typing in the grey areas and then 'tabbing' to the next grey area.
Please submit your saved and completed application to academy@ena.org by April 30.
